PRO-VITAL Raptor Pro-E-Mune is a unique supplement designed to boost immunity in all birds of prey by taking advantage of natural immunoglobulins (IgY) to help jump start and support the immune status of young animals.
PRO-VITAL Raptor Pro-E-Mune is a specialized supplement, used for birds of prey during pre and post fletching or before any stressful event for increased immune protection and assistance.
Furthermore, the prebiotics in this supplement contain β-glucans and mannanoligosaccharides that bind to bacteria with fimbriae type I, such as Salmonella spp. and Escherichia coli. This binding action causes the bacteria to agglutinate and be expelled from the body. As a result, the balance between beneficial and pathogenic bacteria is improved, leading to better zootechnical outcomes, including feed conversion.
What are Immunoglobulins, why are they important, and how can they help?
"Ig" or immunoglobulins, also known as antibodies, are a natural component of the body's defense system found in both animals and humans. These globular proteins are capable of binding to and neutralizing pathogens such as bad bacteria or viruses.
During the first few weeks of life, young animals are particularly vulnerable as their immune system is not yet fully developed, and there is a rapid decrease in maternal immune defense, such as colostrum. Challenges such as environmental pathogen agents and stress due to changes in management and nutrition can have a negative impact on the animal's health, leading to lower performance.
Feeding adult birds of prey with immunoglobulins while they are raising their young can pass on these benefits through the feeding, providing additional support and protection to the young animals' immune systems.
Knowing this, we at Pro-Vital Animal Health Inc. ® have developed Pro-E-Mune to support young animals during critical phases of early life. This product is based on egg powder containing natural immunoglobulins (IgY).
Instructions:
Add 1/8 of a small scoop per the first 100 g to 500g of body weight. Add additional 1/8 of a scoop for every additional 500g of body weight. Amounts can be doubled during periods of stress. Use daily for the first 15 days. Then can be used one to three times per week. Use when birds are under stress, or before and during hunting season.
Can be used during eyas rearing. Administer first day on every day for 15 days, then continue 2 to 3 times a week, or when needed.
Use 50g of Raptor Pro-E-Mune for every 500g of body weight.
